Our tour concludes with a visit to 3 top wine estates, each offering a unique and unforgettable experience.

Board your direct flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit - your gateway to the Greater Kruger Park.

From Hoedspruit, a short transfer will take you to Rockfig Safari Lodge, located in the heart of the Timbavati. The Timbavati Private Game Reserve is an exclusive Big 5 wilderness area that boasts incredible sightings of not only the Big 5 but also various other wildlife species.

RockFig Safari Lodge is an intimate option with just six suites located in the northern section of the Timbavati Private Game Reserve. Each room is comfortably furnished and features indoor and outdoor showers, a private veranda, and a bath overlooking the Timbavati bushveld.

Upon arrival at the lodge, check into your room and enjoy lunch. Later in the day, depart on your first safari game drive.

Upon confirming your safari with Abby’s African Group Tours, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit. The deposit will secure your accommodation and flights within Africa.

Cancellation
All new bookings may be deferred, canceled, or refunded no later than 48 hours before arrival due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions or illness.

COVID-19 related travel restrictions & illness refer to:
If travel restrictions are imposed for any duration of the travel dates in the country of origin, transit, or destination.
Enforced quarantine periods on arrival in the country of origin or destination.
Being prevented from boarding a flight or entering the country of travel on account of health screening results.
A guest testing positive for Coronavirus up to 15 days before travel

Refunds
Abby’s African Tours will refund the client up to 70% of the total price of the safari. Certain elements prevent us from extending a 100% refund, which includes:

  • Credit Card and wire transfer fees incurred by the company
  • Internal flights are non-refundable as per the airline’s terms and conditions
  • Cancellation terms vary from property to property, and the operator may not receive the full refund

Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against any unexpected events during your trip. This includes coverage for emergency evacuation flights, ensuring you have peace of mind and assistance in unforeseen circumstances.
